Last week, President Biden once again urged rich people to pay “their fair share.”

Of course, Biden wouldn’t define the threshold for “fair share,” even as he continued to push the false Leftist talking point.

Biden continued the Left’s class warfare campaign when he said the following:

“Big corporations and the very wealthy were doing very well before the pandemic. That’s why I’ve said — starting back in my campaign for president — that it’s not enough just to build back; we have to build back better than before. And that’s how it all begins.

I’m not out to punish anyone. I’m a capitalist. If you can make a million or a billion dollars, that’s great. God bless you. All I’m asking is you pay your fair share. Pay your fair share just like middle-class folks do. But that isn’t happening now.”

Biden’s comments were made during a White House speech in which he outlined his plans to raise taxes on the top-income earners, corporations, investments, and a surcharge tax on wealth.

However, Biden’s assertion that the top 1% don’t pay their fair share is rubbish and is easily refuted.

The Daily Wire reported that “Internal Revenue Service data from 2018 show that the top 1% of American income earners paid more in federal income taxes than the bottom 90% percent of income earners combined. Additionally, 61% of all American taxpayers paid no taxes last year, and the bottom half of taxpayers paid less than 3% of all income taxes.”

The arrogance of the Left never ends.

They feel they are so much smarter than the job-creators in this country. The fact that most of them have never run a business or known the stress of turning a profit in a competitive market is inconsequential to them.

They want to use the levers of power to “redistribute” income as they see fit, while rewarding those who kiss their ring.

Biden’s former boss, Barack Obama, never missed an opportunity to attack the wealthy. He famously told a crowd, during the 2012 campaign, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Obama, whose closest thing to a job was as a community organizer, knows better than the wealthy business owners how to run a business.

Give me a break.

This coming from a guy who once said, “At some point you’ve made enough money.”

So, Barack, how much is enough?

You and your wife, Michelle “Antoinette” Obama, have made over $100 million since leaving the White House.

The Obamas signed a $65 million book deal and a $50 million production deal with Netflix. The former commander in chief charges $400,000 per speech, and then returns at night to relax in his palatial Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

This is a good gig if you can get it.

Obama’s former vice president is carrying on his class warfare rhetoric, and so far, his successor’s administration is far more Left than his administration was…which is saying something given the Obama record.

Maybe it is time for THEM to pay their fair share.

Just a thought.
