It couldn’t be clearer that the Biden Administration wants to keep future generations of Americans indoctrinated through the Leftist-controlled education system.

Biden’s latest executive order moves to rescind a previous Trump order that helps Americans who don’t want to be burdened by student debt or don’t fit the mold of the one-size-fits-all four-year degree path.

Besides maintaining thought control or stripping Trump’s legacy, what other reason would there be to revoke an executive order that helped reform this flawed institution?

One of Trump’s biggest initiatives during his term in office was to reform the education system to work for everyone—both those who go to college and for those who don’t.

He worked to expand educational opportunities beyond four-year degrees via trade schools and apprenticeships for specific hands-on training for manufacturing and other industries.

One presidential action he signed, Executive Order 13801, titled, “Expanding Apprenticeships in America,” accomplished this exact goal.

To provide a workaround for debt-incurring four-year degrees, Trump signed this order expanding apprenticeship opportunities for students to learn skills that would land them high-paying jobs without needing a four-year degree.

The order stated it would be the policy of the federal government “to provide more affordable pathways to secure, high-paying jobs by promoting apprenticeships and effective workforce development programs.” It continues, “while easing the regulatory burden on such programs and reducing or eliminating taxpayer support for ineffective workforce development programs.”

Unfortunately, last week Biden signed an order revoking this order that helps people who can’t afford college or don’t fit the mold by giving them opportunities to become high-earners without a college degree.

Citing no reason for doing so, Biden simply rescinded the order, which could have prevented future generations from being stuck without options in a world that only values four-year degrees.

Most importantly, it could have provided a better future for millions by bringing more people out of poverty, pushing them into the middle class or beyond.

Unless Biden signs a similar order, they may never get that opportunity now.
