Remember when Beto O’Rourke proudly exclaimed, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore?” At the time, we thought he was just trying to find a niche in the extreme fringe of his quickly-moving-left party.

Until that moment, he seemed like nothing but an Obama clone—a Left-leaning Liberal that had SOME middle-of-the-road views.

However…

After he yelled those words at a debate, he became the poster child for extreme gun control and it wasn’t too long after that that he was forced to drop out of the race.

Why?

Well, it could be that his overall message wasn’t sitting well with Liberals…

Maybe it was the fact that he was “too white” and not intersectional enough to appeal to the rest of the party…

Or maybe it’s the fact that there are plenty of Democrats that own guns too and they didn’t want them taken from them as much as conservatives do.

Whatever the answer is, this stance—and the timing of this stance—seemed to be the beginning of the end for Robert Francis O’Rourke…

It’s probably why many of his fellow DNC hopefuls have shied away from taking such an extreme stance on guns. They didn’t want to fall victim to the same fate as Beto.

However…

Desperate times call for desperate measures – and nobody is more desperate now that the lying dog-faced pony-soldier himself, Joe Biden.

The Act Of A Desperate Man

Joe Biden has found himself behind the 8-ball lately…

That 8-ball is named Bernie Sanders.

And to be honest…

There may be a few more balls in front of him than just the 8. It seems that Biden’s fallen to the middle of the pack behind Sanders, Bloomberg, and Warren.

That being said…

Sleepy Joe seems to finally be waking up to his party’s extreme ways. Recently, he has taken up Beto’s mantle of “we’re coming for your guns” and is wielding it proudly for the world to see…

He’s just doing so from a different angle.

At a rally in South Carolina, Biden let gun owners be, but targeted another group—gun manufacturers.

Recently, Joe has latched on to the notion of holding gun manufacturers liable when one of their weapons is used to commit a crime…

Hopefully, he doesn’t do the same for knives, bats, or fists – because even though they’re used to kill more people than guns, it’d be nearly impossible to go after that many companies.

If You Can’t Beat ‘Em – Join ‘Em

At the rally, Joe said, “A guy has 12 assault weapons with bump stocks, which means you can fire it faster. You can pull the trigger faster. Why in God’s name should anyone, anyone, anyone, anyone be able to own that? It’s just wrong, and we’ve got to — and I promise you, as president, I am going to get these guys.”

If that wasn’t enough…

He doubled down at the recent DNC debate in South Carolina when he said, “If I’m elected, NRA, I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers, I’m gonna take you on and I’m gonna beat you.”

Of course…

He also said that “150 million people have been killed since 2007,” and considering that there are roughly 300 million people in the US, that seems pretty unlikely—so if you’re going to listen to Sleepy Joe, take whatever he says with a grain of salt.

What we can glean from this is Joe has had to come up with an extreme strategy to appeal to the extremists in his party…

And it seems like gun rights have been placed in his crosshairs—pun intended.

This is how the Democrats are working now…

If they can’t get support, they’re just going to double down on appeals to Leftist fringe movements by becoming more and more radical.

But this is just the beginning…

By the end of it all, they’re going to make Obama look like Reagan in comparison.

Welcome to the 2020 Democrats…

A political party on the verge of falling into chaos.

Isn’t it great?

“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” – Thomas Jefferson
