To Trump’s advantage, the Biden-Harris ticket is making every mistake in the book with less than two weeks until the election.
In fact, Biden is doing the opposite of everything a presidential candidate is supposed to do to court the American people.
Even now, he’s at the end of taking five straight days off during crunch time, running from daily bombshell stories on his family’s criminal enterprise, and now he’s also sending a pessimistic message about America.
In Biden’s latest campaign ad, which he posted to Twitter on Wednesday, he slammed America as nothing more than an “idea” that we have “failed to live up to.”
“America was an idea. We’ve never lived up to it but we’ve never walked away from it before,” he said during a clip from a podcast with Brené Brown.
Biden argued the solution to it is “to be more honest” with our kids about “what actually did happen”. He says we must “acknowledge our mistakes so we don’t repeat them.”

Biden’s latest message to Americans perpetuates the Left’s narrative that America was never great as a dig at President Trump’s slogans “Make America Great Again” and “Keep America Great”.
To say America was essentially a failed idea is an insult to every single American who contributes to this country, especially our military servicemen and first responders who put their lives on the line every day for this country.
It insinuates that we need radical change in order to make America a great country that “lives up” to the idea people know and love. Joe Biden stands for progressivism, which is the very thing that deteriorates society and is the cause for so much of our failures.
But Biden’s campaign ad is also just completely wrong.
Although it is undeniable that our country has its mistakes, we have always been a great country.
Since our nation’s founding, we always have been and still are the country people immigrate to in hopes of a better life. America provides endless opportunities, rights, and freedoms to all its citizens, and America fights on behalf of its allies and for those struggling for freedom around the world. America is a “beacon of hope” to the world.
While the Biden campaign might think it is a smart plan for Biden to run and hide and only emerge to criticize the country that he wants to govern, it can only backfire from here.
Americans don’t want a president who has no vision for the country and has no faith in its people. They want a president who inspires and sees hope for the future.
As much as I dislike him, much of the reason Obama won in 2008 was because of his promising message of “hope and change” for America. Similarly, President Trump has ushered in a vision of making America great again, and now keeping it great. What both Trump and Obama have in common is their ability to lead and inspire in a time of despair. Joe Biden lacks that ability, and that will ultimately be why he loses the 2020 presidential election.
