In politics, some moves are considered “low blows.”

They’re part and parcel for the profession. Many times, these low blows can be very effective – Trump used them beautifully during his debates with Crooked Hillary – so there is a real and useful purpose behind them.

However…

That does not mean that these low blows can’t fall flat from time to time.

That’s their danger.

When a political blow fails, it makes the user look petty, weak, desperate, and ridiculous.

Live by the sword, die by the sword, right?

Well, Beto just attempted one of these political low blows, aiming it at Trump – and to say it fell flat would be an understatement.

He’s being lambasted on social media for his idiocy and for his crassness in trying to politicize a disaster…

Before it even happened.

“It’s Trump’s FAULT!!”

This is a first…

While the Left loves to politicize a tragedy whenever they can, the fact that Beto has ineffectively tried a pre-emptive politicization of Hurricane Dorian is something we haven’t seen before.

What makes this low blow even better (or worse) is the fact that it doesn’t seem like Dorian is going to make actual landfall in the United States…

Though it did thoroughly DEVASTATE the Bahamas. While we should all be focused on trying to help our immediate neighbors to the east, Beto is focused on attacking Trump for something the president has no way of controlling.

Here’s what Beto tweeted: “When Hurricane Dorian hits, Trump will say this was an unavoidable act of nature, but the truth is, the damage will be way worse because of his incompetence, recklessness, and hatred.”

Ummm…what?

Let’s just hit everything wrong here…

First of all, “When Hurricane Dorian hits…”? Seems like Beto was counting chickens before they hatched.

You can bet that he had plans to come to Florida if Dorian hit…

Probably for some photo ops with his sleeves rolled up, ready to show America that he cares and wants to help.

Trump: Master Of Hurricanes And God Of The Storm!

Now, the second part…

“Trump will say this was an unavoidable act of nature”.

Well, yeah – it is. A hurricane is absolutely “an unavoidable act of nature”.

Don’t you think that if Trump—or ANYBODY, for that matter—could stop a hurricane from destroying lives and property, they would? Even the evilest human being on the planet would stop a hurricane, if only for the optics.

So, yes, Beto… a hurricane IS an unavoidable act of nature. It always has been and always will be – until we get that HARP machine working. (That one was for our conspiracy theorists out there.)

And finally…

“But the truth is, the damage will be way worse because of his incompetence, recklessness, and hatred”.

Incompetence? Trump can only do so much. If you’re blaming Puerto Rico’s mismanagement of relief funds on Trump, you’re pointing your finger in the wrong direction.

Recklessness? Honestly, what does this even mean?

Hatred? What hatred? What do feelings have to do with hurricane relief?

No, Beto…

You screwed the pooch here. You just made yourself look petty…

You used a NON-event to attack our president, and it’s backfiring BIG time. It’s surprising that he’s leaving the tweet up.

Beto just destroyed ANY chance he had to become president – not only for 2020 but ever.

It’s done…

Over…

Kaput.

It wasn’t even a good run either…

But when you can’t beat Ted Cruz—one of the most hated people in American at the time—then there’s NO way you’re going to even stand a chance in the primaries, let alone in a run against Trump.

Accept facts, Beto…

You were NOT born for this.
