Over the past few years, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become one of my (if not ALL of FreedomWire’s) favorite Congresspeople to ridicule.

Not because she’s a Democrat—which would actually be reason enough in some circles—but she’s a walking, talking hypocrisy machine. She has no idea how badly her socialist ideas are hurting America and will continue to hurt it long after she’s gone.

The problem is that she’s not smart enough to understand that socialism is BAD. It’s always been bad and will always BE bad, because it takes what is natural, (the competitive nature of capitalism) and makes it UNNATURAL through government ownership.

Humans are a part of nature, and taking that competitive part of our nature away will lead to the same outcome as it does to any caged animal: we will wither and die.

However, like all Liberals, AOC thinks that we need to be controlled—and the only way to control us is to take care of us by giving us what we should be competing for.

What’s terrible is that she has all kinds of influence because her brand of governing appeals to the young and impressionable who have yet to experience the real world.

Her Twitter followers hang on her every word as they fall into line behind her. It’s a shame, really, but it’s part of the political cycle.

However, while the youth may find her impressive and engaging, she hasn’t got the ability to actually lead, only to enthrall.

For all the attention she gets and for all the tweets and videos she makes, she’s useless in her post in Congress.

AOC: A True Waste Of Space

Now, when I say “useless” I don’t mean in the general sense of the term—though, my instinct tells me she’s as useless in her real life as she is in politics.

No, when I say “useless,” I mean “ineffective,” and we now have proof that AOC is wasting everybody’s time. A new survey by the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking found that her legislative effectiveness is almost non-existent.

Ocasio-Cortez ranked 230th out of 240 by the survey, and when it comes to the 19 other Democrats from her state in Congress, her effectiveness quotient comes in DEAD last.

The co-director of the organization behind the survey, Alan Wiseman, a Vanderbilt political scientist said, “She introduced a lot of bills, but she was not successful at having them receive any sort of action in committee or beyond committee and if they can’t get through committee, they cannot pass the House.”

In other words, nobody on Capitol Hill is taking her seriously.

And why would they?

She acts like a child actor whose sole reason for existing is creating drama or putting on a show.

Wiseman continued, “It’s clear that she was trying to get her legislative agenda moving and engage with the lawmaking process. But she wasn’t as successful as some other members were — even among [other] freshmen — at getting people to pay attention to her legislation.”

And that may be because her legislation is batsh*t CRAZY!

Ban hamburgers and air travel?

That’s what her Green New Deal had in it at one point—and that’s NOT an exaggeration.

Of course she’s not getting attention from other lawmakers.

She’s a joke and everybody that has any idea of what goes on up there knows this to be true.

And this fact is no better represented by the fact that, out of all of Congress, she’s in the bottom 5% of effective lawmakers.

That’s absolutely crazy when you look at the amount of attention she gets from the mainstream media.

Thankful She’s An Idiot

However, we should be thankful that nobody takes her seriously.

As GOP Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis put it, “Her ludicrous policy ideas would destroy our country — Americans should be thankful she’s not effective.”

Yes, we ARE thankful…

But we’d be even happier if she’d take her leave from our federal government.

Oh well. Beggars can’t be choosers, right?

If we don’t have a choice of whether or not she’s a lawmaker, I guess it’s better to have her be ineffective…

Better than effective for socialism, right?
