Imagine being a New Yorker and being forced to watch one of your elected officials praise a criminal for making your city LESS safe to live in?
Wouldn’t that be terrible?
Would it anger you that somebody who holds public office would defend a criminal that was actively trying to make your city more dangerous?
Of course it would…
And of course you’d condone the police pulling this thug off the streets and arresting them in broad daylight so the entire city could see that kind of behavior won’t be tolerated in their city.
That’s exactly what the NYPD did…
They cornered ANTIFA member, Nikki Stone, a transgender woman who was recorded going around New York City and either throwing paint or using a spray can to cover up the police cameras that help keep that city safe.
Officers found her skateboarding down the street in front of a protest (which she allegedly organized), which is when the Warrant Squad – the NYPD’s plainclothes officers – grabbed her and put her into an unmarked minivan.
This sparked a near-riot by the people that were marching down the street in protest – with some throwing rocks and bottles at the arresting officers as uniformed bike officers kept the mob back.
Officials Refuse To Back Police Officers
Stone was only held for about five hours…
But the arrest has started a proverbial s**tstorm in the city, as both local and federal officials have weighed in on the arrest.
We’ll start with City Council member Scott Stringer, who tweeted out, “I’m deeply concerned by the videos circulating of a protester being thrown into an unmarked van. We need answers immediately.”

Answers to what?
She wasn’t a protestor. She’s a criminal and got arrested, end of story.
Then of course, the worst mayor in NYC history, Warren Wilhelm AKA Bill de Blasio, weighed in, saying, “I think it was the wrong time and the wrong place to effectuate that arrest.”
Oh, is that right, Warren?
So, is there a better time for officers to arrest a criminal than when they see them? Is there a better place to arrest them than where officers know they’ll be?
New York would be better served with a cat in the Mayor’s office than that fool.
Speaking of fools, Stringer and de Blasio weren’t the ONLY idiots to open their pie holes in a discussion they knew NOTHING about.
The Biggest Fool Of Them All
AOC decided to jump into the fray when she tweeted out this nugget of wisdom, “Our civil liberties are on brink. This is not a drill. There is no excuse for snatching women off the street and throwing them into unmarked vans. To not protect our rights is to give them away. It is our responsibility to resist authoritarianism.”

Except there is an excuse. That woman was responsible for destroying safety equipment used to keep people in the city safe from crime.
She took it upon herself to paint over cameras and put lives in danger…
So, an actual police operation was carried out to make sure this criminal understands that we are a nation of laws – and when violating those laws put other in danger, you’re going to have to pay the price.
Of course, the Left tries to spin it to look like she was arrested for protesting—but that wasn’t the case…
She was arrested because of her DEEDS during the protest.
Chief Rodney Harrison said of the event, “The #NYPD welcomes peaceful protests. However, damage to NYPD technology that helps keep this city safe will never be tolerated. These cameras are vital resources which help prevent and solve crimes throughout the city.”
Wonder if AOC, de Blasio, or Stringer understands this…
Or even if they care.
New York City is a warzone thanks to the leadership at the city and state levels…
They need to get their act together, support their police, and put an end to the lawlessness.
They can do it…
They’re just choosing not to – and you have to wonder why.
