Man, how awesome is it to have a president in office that plays hardball?

After eight years of Obama, a Commander-In-Chief who would bend over backward (and forward, low enough to see his reflection in the shoes of foreign leaders) to the world…

It’s good to see a president in office that has the cojones to call people on the bluster and bluffs.

It seems like the world forgets that Trump didn’t cut his teeth in politics…

He made his bones in the cutthroat world of business, where Darwin’s Law reigns supreme in a financial game of survival of the fittest.

A diplomat Trump is not…

And when he breaks the rules of what is and isn’t acceptable, it’s fun to watch.

He literally cuts through the bulls**t of these elitist traditionalists – and if they expect him to change, they’re in for a RUDE awakening.

There is a LOT of tension growing in the Middle East…

With Iran ramping up their antagonistic activities, it was only a matter of time before they did something to us that demanded a response. When Iranian-back forces in Iraq stormed the American embassy, Trump’s drone strike targeting General Soleimani was the only acceptable reaction.

The Vote Heard Round The World

Of course…

Leftists being Leftists around the world, many of them are condemning Trump’s action of strategically eliminating a known terrorist and military leader for Iran’s forces.

The attack on the Baghdad embassy was the last straw…

But fortunately, we didn’t have another Benghazi on our hands; this time, we have somebody in the office that actually cares about our troops and citizens.

Of course…

With the attack happening on Iraqi soil, we knew there was going to be some kind of blowback.

And the Iraqi Parliament gave it to us after they voted to expel the US troops stationed there.

Now, of course, the mainstream media isn’t reporting on the fact that it’s been reported that MANY of the parliament members were threatened or coerced into voting for this US expulsion…

But the vote happened nonetheless.

Of course, it seems the Iraqi government forgot that Donald Trump is in the Oval Office and NOT Barack Obama…

Which means instead of kowtowing to their whims, Trump let them know EXACTLY what was going to happen.

He didn’t threaten war or violence…

He simply threatened to impose sanctions on Iraq that, in the president’s own words, “make Iranian sanctions seem somewhat tame.”

Hit ‘Em Where It HURTS

The president told reporters, “If they do ask us to leave if we don’t do it on a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that’s there. It cost billions of dollars to build. Long before my time. We’re not leaving unless they pay us back for it.”

The Iraqi officials know that our president isn’t issuing some empty threat…

They know that Trump will follow through with these sanctions if he’s forced to – which has led some Iraqi parliament members to soften their position and scale down their own rhetoric.

The military spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, who met with the US ambassador recently to discuss this decision, said any withdrawal would “only involve combat forces and not training and logistical support for the Iraqi military.”

Ahhhh…

We get it. You want our help in defending you from ISIS…

But don’t want to help us when it TRULY matters?

Here’s the truth…

We’re not leaving. At least not any time soon…

Not with Iran threatening violence against America and American assets abroad.

We know we’re staying, and the Iraqi government knows we’re staying – but they had to do something after the drone strike was done on their own soil…

They’re trying to avoid retribution themselves.

It’s just funny that they’re talking about expelling the ONE thing that stands between them and becoming Western Iran.

They’ll come around…

If not, they’ll have to deal with the man we call President – Donald J. Trump – and that’s not something they want to do.
