Truth is very hard to come across these days — especially when it comes to the world of politics.

People are blinded…

Blinded by their bias, blinded by what they see on the internet or TV, and most importantly, blinded by their commitment to toeing the company line.

Now, this assessment isn’t just about the Democrats…

There are definitely some conservatives that fall under this dirty umbrella as well.

This is the world we’re living in. We’re so divided that, collectively, we’ve somehow forgotten how to just call balls and strikes…

We’re more concerned with “winning” the game by any means necessary than we are with the honoring the game and winning with integrity.

While this may be true, it’s also true that the Left tends to play WAY dirtier than the Right nowadays, as evidenced by their absolute HATE of anything that Trump does or says.

They couldn’t call a ball or strike when it comes to Trump if their lives depended on it…

Everything he does is a miss to them — and they’re very vocal about it.

Which is why it’s so refreshing to hear a Democrat who CAN call balls and strikes and can see the value that our president adds to the present and future of our great country…

And it just so happens that this Democrat is BET founder, Robert Johnson.

Robert Johnson Calls Them Like He Sees Them

Johnson, an admitted centrist, seems to have a lot of good things to say about our president — something you don’t see much of nowadays coming from the Democrats…

But in an interview with CNBC, Johnson didn’t hold back and said exactly what he felt was the obvious truth — and that is the fact that Donald Trump is doing an incredible job.

“I give the president a lot of credit for moving the economy in a positive direction that’s benefiting a large number of Americans,” said Johnson. “I think the tax cuts clearly helped stimulate the economy. I think business people have more confidence in the way the economy is going.”

Finally…

A Democrat who gives Trump credit for what he’s doing to keep his campaign promises.

Johnson also said: “Well, I think the economy is doing absolutely great — and it’s particularly reaching into populations that, heretofore, have had very bad problems in terms of jobs, unemployment, and the opportunities that come with full employment. So, African-Americans unemployment is at its lowest level.”

It makes you wonder why Johnson can recognize this, but the rest of the party can’t.

They’ve taken on the false narrative that Trump is against minorities…

That he doesn’t care about the black and Hispanic communities. In truth, he seems to care more about people of color than any other president before him, including Barack Obama.

Truth Is TRUTH

With all the praise coming from Johnson…

One has to think he’s become a Trump man — a fellow Trumper. And he doesn’t seem to be ashamed of it.

Why?

Because he doesn’t like the direction his party has taken.

Johnson went on to say in the interview: “The party, in my opinion, has moved, for me personally, too far to the Left. For that reason, I don’t have a particular candidate in the party at this time.”

Seeing as there are 23 candidates left in the DNC race, this is a big revelation. There are plenty of choices for DNC members … and the fact that none of them resonate with Johnson speaks volumes.

He continued: “I think at the end of the day, if a Democrat is going to beat Trump, then that person, he or she, is going to have to move to the center, and you can’t wait too long to do that. Because the messages of some of the programs that Democrats are pushing are not resonating with the majority of the American people.”

He hit the nail on the head…

Their platforms are too extreme for the normal American.

Even worse for them? It doesn’t look like ANY of them will be moving back toward the center. In fact, it seems that they’re moving even FURTHER to the Left than EVER before…

Even Joe Biden is flopping on issues that can be construed as more of an extreme position.

If Johnson is thinking this…

You can bet that OTHER party members are thinking this exact same thing.

This does not bode well for Democrats in 2020…

And may be a sign of things to come.
